Dr Ju-Lee Ooi is an ophthalmologist with special interests in cataract surgery, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, medical retinal diseases, glaucoma and general ophthalmology. She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of New South Wales then undertook advanced training in ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital. Her fellowship in medical retina was completed at Westmead Hospital with further training at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge in the UK.
Dr Ooi practices at Eye and Retina Specialists, Green Square and Hills Eye Surgery, Pennant Hills. She is a consultant ophthalmologist at Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Eye and Retina Specialists is an independently owned and run ophthalmic practice in Waterloo, Green Square. There is a procedure room on site for intravitreal injections and minor procedures, and state of the art technology for diagnosis and management including laser treatment for retinal problems and glaucoma. Urgent patients are able to be seen, often on the same day if required, and free patient parking is available in a secure basement carpark.
