On 30th June 2018, the Australian Chinese Medical Association (ACMA) held a networking event at Mr. Tipply’s in Sydney. This themed event allowed doctors a reprieve from their heavy workloads, to both discuss frontline dermatology examination and diagnostic tools, as well as deploy their imagination and creativity in painting.
The event was sponsored by Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology (DHM). Ms Zita Dettori, the Client Service Manager from DHM together with Dr. Maddie Gorji, the dermatopathologist from DHM, attended the event. Dr Gorji first presented the frontline dermatology examination and diagnosis experience to the members.
After the presentation, doctors discussed the key points from the presentation over gourmet food and drinks, as staff from "Life in Paint" set up for the afternoon painting session, much to the excitement of the audience.
This was followed by a creative drawing session with the painter, which was a whole new experience to many doctors and their families. The beautiful day concluded with a group photo of everyone and their masterpieces.
